Hey kids,
The last few weeks have been quite hectic around these parts. Wedding season is in full swing and I have been pumping out toppers as fast as my tiny hands can make them. Here are a couple of recent World of Warcraft pieces I have made for a couple clients.
The first one was actually a birthday gift from a girlfriend to her boyfriend (I never had girlfriends like that before). He is an avid WoW player, but she isn't. So the male figure is his actual toon, while hers is a "anime-style faerie, but not a butterfly faerie".
She also has a real tattoo that she wanted me to incorporate into her piece. The quote is great "Tell me what you cherish, give me the pleasure of taking it away.". Below you can see the source material and a few more angles. Click for a larger view.
Next up is another Tauren themed wedding cake topper. This one is without the tier gear, and in the in-game WoW wedding clothes. Since this is a surprise, the bride-to-be couldn't get me the screenshots of his toon, except when he was questing with her. But all in all, it turned out nice.
Below is the pose and source material, as well as a couple of straight on shots of the figures.
So what do you think?
This is amazing! I like those WoW figurines, it would be interesting to see that on a wedding cake.
