Hey kids,
Many of you don't know it, but I also sculpt real versions of people (I call them Clay Imitations), not just their avatars. I have just finished up a 30 Years of Service Award for David Lim up in Canada. His wife, Jade, wanted to show her appreciation for his dedication while also showing off his personality. This one ended up being more of a "can you find the activity" piece. Jade thinks he is quite the superhero (shouldn't all wives), so we named the piece "Super Dave", which also gave me the jumping off point.
Then we added the details. See if you can spot:
- 30 years working for an international sulfur distributor
- World travel
- Black and white tweed Armani jacket
- Slip on loafers
- Addidas golf shoes
- Titleist golf carry bag
- Tour edge Exotics XCG-3 Driver
- Taylor Made Drivers
- Karaoke
- Guitar
- Year of the tiger
- Hardtop black briefcase
- Carryon bag
All-in-all a full plate, but a nice composition. I think even the face turned out right, and when it comes down to it, isn't that what is important?
Enjoy.
