I'm not sure why, maybe it's the economy, maybe the novelty has worn off, but the sales for the new Chocomiis are slow, at best. Actually, at the time I am writing this, I have sold 15 boxes. That is a paltry amount compared to the same time last year when I had sold nearly 1200.
So what's changed?
I have to channel my inner Sherlock on this one, because honestly I don't know. The bloggers picked it up, it will be appearing in some geek related online "hey you should check this out" posts, but the product has just lost momentum.
I thought that by changing it up, making it more professional, would have opened the flood gates wider, but if it did, there was nothing but drought behind the gates. Anyone out there have an idea? Old customers, is something lacking? Let me know. I would hate to make the same mistakes twice.
Oh, and for those of you itching for a return to Vlogdays, this Thursday (strike that, it will be postponed until we have snow.... stupid forecasters) I will be creating possibly my last Vlog: The Fine Art of Driving II. This is largely due to GENIUSGT over at YouTube constantly asking me to make another. So stay tuned Thursday for the update.
Well, I know personally, I ordered your Miis last year and didn't receive them until a month after Valentine's Day and when I did they were broken and the box was ripped/smashed. However, my boyfriend and I just switched Mii heads and shared the wealth. I still think they are awesome and the redesign is cool too, but I noticed people didn't seem very understanding about your shipping/breakage issues last year. People suck.
I'm sorry to hear about your sales, but if it makes you feel better, I still ordered more. Hope everything ends well. Good Luck!

Thanks Joanie for the comment. Yeah, people can be hard to deal with from time to time. A lot of the customers don't understand that it is only one guy. I think they think I am a corporation and just vent to vent. I really do take it to heart when things go badly. Even the things out of my control. That whole postal fiasco last year really did open my eyes to how jacked that whole thing is. That's why I made the changes I did, hoping to redeem myself. I am sad that your order arrived so damn late and in shambles. This years' won't. I can guarantee that.
Again, thanks for being a repeat supporter!!
